Kasur Tempa Tsering, born on May 15, 1950, in Drumpa, Gyangtse, Tibet, fled to India with his parents in 1959. A graduate of Madras Christian College, he joined the Tibetan civil service in 1973. Over the years, he served in various capacities, including deputy secretary at the Department of Information and International Relations and additional secretary at the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. In 2000, he was elected as a minister (Kalon) by the Tibetan Parliament in Exile and held the portfolio for the Department of Home. Later, in 2006, he became Kalon for the Department of Information and International Relations, concurrently serving as the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in New Delhi until his retirement in 2016. During his tenure, he inceptionlised the GTPN initiative along with the the current managing Trustee Youdon Aukatsang.
Currently he is the Director, India and East Asia, Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in New Delhi and Trustee of Empowering the Vision Project.

At age seven, faced with the choice between a regular school life and joining the monastery. He was too young to decide, and his father's decision led him to join Drepung Loseling Monastic in 1993.
Despite pressure from other family members and elders about his proper education, he reflects proudly on his father’s choice, shaping his identity and perspective. Today, his entire family finds contentment in his chosen path.
He began teaching the Tibetan language in 2012 at Varanasi Higher Education. Despite occasional online teaching, his role as a monastery translator during the US trip disrupted his educational effort. The pandemic provided an opportunity for him to shift focus to online teaching. He started creating educational videos on Instagram, connecting with the younger generation. The positive response from his audience was heartening.He strongly encourages today's youth to delve into Tibetan history. He believes understanding the past is crucial.
Dr. TenzinPassang
Dr. Tenzin Pasang is the Principal of the Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education. He was educated at the Tibetan Children’s Village, Dharamshala Cantt, and earned his PhD in physics specializing in Positron Annihilation Spectroscopy (PAS) in 2014. His research included groundbreaking work in the USA and India. Post-PhD, he served as a research coordinator in Mangaluru and received an Australian government fellowship in 2016. He conducted post-doctoral studies at the University of Western Australia, contributing to numerous publications.
In 2017, he became the director of the Drepung Losel Ling Meditation and Science Centre, focusing on the convergence of modern and Buddhist sciences.
NyimaDakpa
Nyima Dakpa, born in Bylakuppe, attended CST Bylakuppe until the tenth grade. He pursued science in high school at CST Mussoorie and obtained his engineering degree from Raja Rajeshwari College in Bengaluru. After a year in product development, he proposed hydroponic farming, but inadequate funding and lack of corporate interest led to dissatisfaction. Losing motivation, he quit his job, founded "Zomphel," and carried the project with him to contribute to his community. Along with Zomphel Agrotech, he runs Zomphel E-shop to deliver shichak delicacies to the world through online shopping platforms.
KelsangWangmo
Kelsang Wangmo currently works as an Assistant Manager- Human Resources at TVS - Sundaram Auto Components Ltd. Prior to this, she worked as a senior HR Analyst at InspireOne Consultants in Gurgaon.
She obtained her MHRM (Master's in Human Resource Management) from Rutgers University - State University Of New Jersey. She is part of the TSP2019 cohort. Before that, Kelsang completed her Bachelor's and Master's in Commerce from Symbiosis College and Ness Wadia College, respectively, affiliated with Pune University.
She is an active member of the GTPN Delhi Chapter, engaging in numerous initiatives of Empowering the Vision project through school visits and providing training to university students, such as leading the Employability Skill Training Workshop in TCV Private ITI, Dehradun, in August last year. Having moved to Bangalore recently, she will definitely add more layers to the GTPN Bangalore Chapter.
