Thupten Dolma Phuntsog is a doctoral student at the UMass Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences. After receiving her master’s degree in public health from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, she worked as a qualitative research specialist for the University of Pittsburgh Center for Research on Health Care. She currently works as a project coordinator on a mixed-method study through the University of California, San Diego and as a research assistant with the UMass Amherst Center for Program Evaluation. Her interests in the public health sector include health disparities and inequities in immigrant/refugee communities regarding sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, and chronic disease management.
