Kelsang Tsomo a fashion designer and a stylist. She founded her her own label which is known as LAKAR, The Tibetan couture. Her designs captivated people attention with its uniqueness, yet very contemporary outlook. She specializes in enriching and polish our traditional wears, without losing its essence.  She was born in Kollegal Dhondenling settlement. She got her diploma in fashion designing from Vogue Fashion Institute, Bangalore and never look back. Her big break came when she interned with Anna Singh, a famous designer in Bollywood films which gave her valuble experience and in-still confidence in her. She is an Alumni of CST Kollegal, CST Shimla and St Teresa College, Mysore.

She finds her work very interesting and loves doing it. In year 2007, She held the first ever Tibetan fashion show at Bylakuppe South India since then she has exhibited her designs in several countries Toronto (Canada) and Madison (USA). She also runs a Lakar Store with her own label at Majnu ka Tilla since Dec, 2009.
