While I was pursuing my Master’s in Public Health with Health Analytics specialization, I ventured into learning analytical software like SAS, Atlas.ti, and ArcGIS. Initially, it was intimidating to learn these tools sans any coding background but as the course unfolded, I started embracing its application in research. The exposure to these tools opened my eyes to the world of analytics and the scope it catered. With the appetite to enhance my SAS proficiency, I 
worked on multiple research projects using these tools.
However, after completing my studies, I realized that apart from having SAS knowledge, a certification in the same will give me an edge in the job market and propel my career prospects. With limited knowledge, resources, and never-ending pandemic woes, my aspiration to get certified in this tool seemed far-fetched. In the wake of this conundrum, Empowering the Vision came to my rescue.
After getting selected for ENVISION’s Fellowship, they encouraged me to take classes virtually and assisted me to enroll in a short-term course at Study Analytics, Bengaluru. The certification course started in the month of October 2020 and at present, I am gearing up to appear for the exam. I am forever indebted to Empowering Vision’s team for paving the path for my SAS certification.
