DESCRIPTION:-
As a film or video editor, you’ll be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that’s suitable for broadcasting.
The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.
The goal is to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.
This is a key role in the post-production process and your skills can determine the quality and delivery of the final product
You may work on a variety of productions including:
*Short movies *commercials *corporate training videos *feature films *music videos
REQUIREMENTS:-
1+ years of experience in video editing.
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Light works, PremierePro, Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut).
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, continuity etc.
Qualifications:-
Any graduate or specialization.
Experience in doing video editing for a software based product is highly desirable.
