Covid-19
Masks will be available at registration. In this time of increased risk of COVID-19 and flu, we encourage participants to mask up to keep our community safe. Hand sanitizers will also be on site.
Sensory Information
GTPN Summit is a busy event. Large group events can be loud. For anyone sensitive to sound, we recommend using the lobby areas and Institute campus for quiet spaces for breaks.
We aim to offer a scent-reduced space. We ask that participants refrain from wearing products with strong scents. However, we will follow the Tibetan tradition of offering incense, which is non-toxic and natural.
The lights are steady and not overly bright in the auditorium.
Washrooms
Washrooms are wheelchair accessible.
Parking
Free parking is available at the owner’s risk.
Wheelchair Accessibility
Spacious Institute campus is wheelchair accessible.
Should you need assistance, college students and volunteers will be happy to help.
Seating
A variety of types of seating will be available at the event. We will reserve a seating section near the stage for people with disabilities or anyone else requiring seating.
Food
Empowering the Vision Project will provide light refreshments throughout the summit. We cannot guarantee that these refreshments were made in facilities free from nuts or common allergens. We are on a limited budget and rely on institute delicacies.
Empowering the Vision Project is happy to offer three times meals free of cost to all the participants. Meals are hygienic and freshly prepared by the Institute’s Tibetan cook. Mild spiced Indo-Tibetan meals will be served.
