Tsetan Pema is a Nurse at Sir Gangaram Hospital; one of the most premier and well-known private hospitals in New Delhi. She has been working at the Intensive Coronary Care Unit of the Hospital since 2013. Pema had earlier worked at Fortis Hospital in Bangalore for two years after graduating with a B.Sc in Nursing from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, in the same city. Pema was born in Tibet; came to India at a young age and completed her schooling at Tibetan Children Village, Gopalpur.
In the unprecedented global pandemic caused by the Coronavirus, Pema like many other medical professionals around the world, are working at the forefront battling this virus, shouldering critical( & life-threatening) roles to save the lives of others. To celebrate frontline workers around the world in general and of Tibetan medical professionals in particular, ENVISION is delighted to invite Tsetan Pema to our ‘In Conversation with Career Counsellor’. Pema will enlighten and disseminate information and awareness (through her practical experiences) about the devastating second wave in India, the criticality of the precautionary measures thereof, among other things related to the virus.
