Global Tibetan Professionals Network (GTPN), an initiative by Empowering the Vision (ENVISION) to provide a platform where Tibetan Professionals from diverse background can network with each other and connect them with the community. One of the objectives for establishing GTPN is to identify and promote Tibetan professionals who have achieved success in different professionals as role models.
ENVISION together with GTPN member and Founder Delhi by Bike Tenzin Gyalpo hosted SPRING in Delhi tours (bike tour and heritage walk) to facilitate better networking amongst Tibetan professionals residing and working in Delhi and also to encourage one another in our small endeavours to connect, build and give back to the community. It was held on 4th March 2018, joined by 10 Tibetan professionals (GTPN members and young Tibetans).
It was a fun day exploring the city on a bike and then feastin
g on the delectable street food of Delhi by experiencing the Lutyen’s Delhi and the old walled city’s history, quirky stories and photographic lanes. This fun and networking event ended with a scrumptious lunch at KARIMs. Few highlights of the tour- Sikh temple, Agarsen ki baoli, different Havellis, wedding market, spice market and oldest printing press
Both bike tour and heritage walk were provided at a subsidized price to encourage participation and also as a platform to meet, network and collaborate with Tibetan professionals.
