Mr. Tsewang Palden is a professional photographer with the focus on fashion photography. Born and raised in Leh, Ladakh, he completed his schooling from Tibetan Children’s Village Ladakh and Gopalpur. He studied photography at Delhi School of photography, with specialization in fashion photography.

Tsewang Palden one of the few who got the opportunity to attend the Fashion and Nude photography workshop at St.Petersburg, Russia- a master class event held by renowned photographers.

Over the years since he became pro he has been part of numerous photo shoots for upcoming and well known model faces and brands. He also shot the popular cover photo featuring former Miss Tibet Tenzin Dolma for the fashion magazine “The Fashion Ethics” in August 2015. He has also shot dozens of the catalogue for top fashion brands like American Swan and India’s largest online shopping websites such as Myntra, Jabong and much more. He worked with the acclaimed international photographer duo Jaf Jafri and Olya Mentis for 2 years on different assignments for magazines and fashion shoots.

Based out of Delhi, he travels a lot on shoots and assignments across the country. He is currently working on a coffee table book ‘Sons of Tibet’ that documents the individuals involved in the Tibetan Resistance movement led by the Chushi Gangdruk.

Mr. Palden also engages with young Tibetan kids in the community with interest in photography by mentoring them and giving them apprenticeship with him. Through ENVISION’s GTPN, he is eager to reach out to young Tibetans looking to make a career in Photography.
