ENVISION on 11th April had a meeting with Tibetan student heads to discuss the upcoming DU University admission support to Tibetan students.
The heads from Delhi University Tibetan Students Union (DUTSU), Students General Improvement Group (SGIG) Delhi Chapter, Student Council – Tibetan Youth Hostel, Rohini and the head of Global Tibetan Students Union, Delhi Chapter met at ENVISION Office in Delhi.
The meeting presided over by ENVISION Director Youdon Aukatsang and Senior Program Officer, Apa Lhamo went on for three hours. The Student heads reiterated the importance of a joint programme with ENVISION to reach maximum students, a suggestion they raised in the University Outreach meeting held at the SOS Youth Hostel, Delhi in March last month. ENVISION discussed the possibility of such collaboration in their Mission Admission 2017 programme. June 06-07, 2017 has been confirmed as the Mission Admission 2017 outreach date.
The collaboration is aimed at joining forces to serve young Tibetan students aspiring to join DU and few other Universities in Delhi NCR in the best possible way. As such support like admission orientation, streams and college selection – based on disc profiling, and select campus tour was some of the agreed agendas in this meeting with student’s heads.
